President: Carly Lusquinos
I joined SPSEA my freshman year of college. I am now a senior and student teaching in Sharon. I was drawn in by all of the events and different opportunities given to us as members. I did not realize the magnitude and importance this club had. I learned a lot about what my career was going to withhold outside of the classroom and basic things we learned in class. I decided to go for President after talking to the current President and stepping up into a position that I could help influence others like I was. I really wanted to give other students the same feeling and insight that I got when joining PSEA.
Vice President: Stephanie Miller
I have been a part of PSEA since my freshman year and I am now a junior. I wanted to become a part of PSEA because it is a great opportunity to work with other future teachers and to be a leader for others. I am hoping to teach in Montana after I graduate.
Secretary: Jenna Achtzen
I am currently a junior early childhood/special ed major with a leadership minor. I am the current chapter secretary and will be president next year. I have been in PSEA since my freshman year and decided to join PSEA when I was a senior in high school and a friend of mine told me all of the opportunities this organization provides. I came to the first meeting my freshman year and have loved it ever since. I decided to run for a leadership position because of my love for this organization and how much of an impact it makes on education. I feel as a leader I can impact and advocate for education even more!
Treasurer: Brittany Fabbio
Brittany is an Early Childhood and Special Education major. She has been a member of PSEA for 4 years now. She joined the club because she wanted to broaden her knowledge what education consists of and what PSEA can do for its members. Brittany also wanted to meet new people and make more friends in her field of study. She wanted a leadership role in the club, so she could put her name out there and fulfill her duty to the best of her ability.
Historian: Haley Whitman
Haley is a senior Early Childhood and Special Education major. She has been in PSEA for 3 years. She joined the club because she wanted to be more involved on campus and it provided professional development opportunities for future teachers. Haley's favorite part about being a member of the club is helping with the park events because she loves interacting with the children. She wanted to take on a leadership role in the club because she wanted to have a bigger role and help bring new ideas to the club. Her dream job is to be a kindergarten teacher.
